uptime. Our average uptime
rate is 99.98%. So when we say we guarantee a 99.5% uptime, we mean exactly
that.
The very nature of web hosting, of course, calls for occasional downtime,
for no host can guarantee 100%
uptime. Aside from announced/scheduled downtime for system services and
upgrades which last but a
few minutes, our servers are constantly monitored 24 hours a day by our
team members who respond
immediately, should there be any threat. We have yet to issue account
credits for any downtime
because our servers and staff are simply that dependable!
But should the case arise, we will handle any
crediting accordingly.
Our guarantee does not cover downtime due to natural disasters, unwarranted
attacks or acts of terrorism,
or any other forms of server disruption, as disclosed by our “downtime”
definition as any given server not
responding to ping requests within its Local Area Network for a period
that is not scheduled and/or
announced. Also, should any account experience downtime for a prolonged
period of time which would
warrant an eligibility of account crediting, it must be noted that it is
the clients’ responsibility to notify us
within 7 days of the incident. And should an account experience server
downtime, account credit will only be
issued and applied towards future hosting fees.
